Coach announces that singer-songwriter and global ambassador Rira Ikuta wore custom Coach looks during her tour, "Rira Ikuta LIVE TOUR 2026 'Laugh'." The tour was held in three cities: Kobe, Yokohama, and Seoul, which marked Ikuta's first overseas solo tour. The custom looks showcased at each performance were special pieces that fused Coach's craftsmanship with contemporary design, while reflecting Ikuta's worldview and the tour's concept. These looks were created based on the style that left an impression on Ikuta when she first attended a Coach show at New York Fashion Week in February 2026. Based on the first look of the Fall 2026 collection, which she noted as particularly impressive, the designs feature details such as a grunge mood created by distressed processing, bold switching of different materials, and large brooches. The custom jackets incorporate two types of fabrics and star-patterned cloth, reflecting Ikuta's own sensibilities. The tour title "Laugh" carries the nuance of "smiles" as well as a "laid-back" natural state, conveying a message of expressing oneself as one is without forcing it. Furthermore, to commemorate the performances in Kobe, Yokohama, and Korea, the jackets were produced in different colors for each location, creating a unique expression for each city.
