JALUX Inc., Japan Airlines Co., Ltd., and ispace, inc. have signed a payload transportation service agreement for ispace's upcoming lunar landing mission (Mission 3) scheduled for 2028. Based on this, the JAL Group will begin selling payload slots for the 'ARGO PROJECT' to municipalities and companies starting May 27, 2026. The project aims to transport Earth's valuable culture and activities to the moon for future generations. Payloads will be stored in the 'Möbius Ark,' a dedicated transport box developed by JALUX, and delivered to the lunar surface by ispace's lander. Building on over 70 years of aviation history, the JAL Group is embarking on a new challenge in space transportation.
