[JAF Okayama] JAF Okayama Branch to Exhibit at Miyama Park 50th Anniversary Event

The JAF (Japan Automobile Federation) Okayama Branch (Branch Manager: Yuji Nakagawa) will set up a booth at the 'Miyama Park 50th Anniversary Event' held at Miyama Park in Tamano City. Over two days, on Sunday, April 26, and Tuesday (holiday), May 5, 2026, they will conduct a traffic safety awareness event for children. Utilizing the bustling commemorative event geared towards families, JAF aims to provide an opportunity for children to learn about traffic safety while having fun.

JAF Okayama Branch Exhibition Details

The JAF Okayama Branch will issue the 'JAF Kids Safety License' on both days. This content is designed to create a photo-bearing card resembling a real driver's license for children on the spot, serving as a catalyst for them to think about traffic rules and safe behavior on the roads. This initiative is one of their traffic safety awareness activities that has been previously implemented at events within Okayama Prefecture and has been very well-received by parents.

The JAF Okayama Branch exhibition is scheduled for the following two days:

- Tuesday (Holiday), May 5, 2026: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Participation is free of charge on both days, and any event attendee is welcome to join.

About Miyama Park

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of its opening in 2026, Miyama Park will host various commemorative events from the Golden Week period through June, kicking off with an opening event on Sunday, April 26. On the day of the opening event, stage performances, hands-on activities, and gatherings throughout the park are planned, offering content that can be enjoyed by a wide range of generations, from children to adults.

Furthermore, related commemorative events during the Golden Week period are scheduled for Tuesday (holiday), May 5, and an event tied to 'Tamano Rock Day' is planned for Sunday, June 7. A variety of special events unique to this milestone year will unfold at Miyama Park and the Roadside Station (Michi-no-Eki) Miyama Park. This year, marking the 50th anniversary of the park's opening and the 30th anniversary of the Roadside Station Miyama Park's establishment, events will be held over multiple days, and a large number of visitors are expected.
