SPEED STAR Concludes Strategic Partnership Agreement with General Incorporated Association Fukuchiyama United

SPEED STAR Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Jiro Shigaki, Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter "the Company"), which aims to promote and develop sports, extend healthy life expectancy, and revitalize local communities through 30m dash measurements, announces that it has concluded a strategic partnership agreement with the General Incorporated Association Fukuchiyama United (Representative Director: Shota Katano, Location: Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture, hereinafter "Fukuchiyama United").

Background and Purpose of the Partnership

The Company's mission is to "dramatically increase opportunities and venues for dashing across Japan, thereby fostering sports development, health promotion, and regional revitalization." To achieve this, we have begun efforts to popularize "explosive power" as a new indicator through 30m dash measurements.

Fukuchiyama United is a comprehensive regional sports club based in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture, operating teams and schools in 14 categories, with approximately 350 children enrolled. Since 2023, it has been promoting reforms in junior high school club activities in Fukuchiyama City, and from July 2025, it will be entrusted with regional development operations for club activities, undertaking advanced initiatives nationwide.

The purpose of this partnership is to popularize the "SPEED STAR 30m Dash Challenge" in Fukuchiyama City and expand it nationwide, as well as to enhance the brand value of both parties.

Overview of Collaboration

This partnership will involve collaboration and cooperation in the following areas:

Holding regular measurement events — Holding "SPEED STAR" regular measurement events at least three times a year in Fukuchiyama City or Kyoto Prefecture, with mutual public relations support.

Event cooperation in the Kansai area — Cooperation in dispatching athletes, public relations support, and securing sponsorships for "SPEED STAR" events and measurement sessions in the Kansai area.

Building a collaborative model — Developing a model for collaborative projects with regional comprehensive sports clubs ("Fukuchiyama Model") Other — Initiatives contributing to the achievement of the above objectives.

What the "Fukuchiyama Model" Aims For

Through collaboration with Fukuchiyama United, the Company aims to establish a "collaborative model with regional comprehensive sports clubs (Fukuchiyama Model)" centered on daily 30m dash measurements and data utilization.

By jointly creating an environment where children can regularly run 30m and measure their times to feel their own growth, we will establish a mechanism where running becomes the initial entry point for all sports, stimulating interest in sports.

In the future, we plan to horizontally deploy this model to regional sports clubs nationwide and nurture it as a foundation for regional revitalization through sports.
