Radio station J-WAVE (81.3FM) is recruiting new members (13th Generation) for 'J-WAVE WACODES', a community of university and vocational students who will create the next generation of J-WAVE. Formed in 2014, J-WAVE WACODES is a community of university and vocational students that 'creates the next generation of J-WAVE with young sensibilities and flexible ideas,' continuing activities across various fields of J-WAVE. Currently, WACODES is engaged in a variety of activities that leverage their individual personalities, such as producing podcasts and special programs where they handle everything from planning to appearing, assisting as program ADs for J-WAVE, working as staff at the J-WAVE office and sponsored events, writing for J-WAVE NEWS, broadcasting WACODES activities on social media accounts, and original projects proposed by members. Additionally, at the monthly general meeting held at J-WAVE, meaningful planning and discussions from a free perspective regarding future activities and broadcasts as WACODES are conducted. About 40 highly individual members, who joined with motivations such as 'I love J-WAVE!', 'I want friends I can get excited talking about radio with!', and 'I want to work in the entertainment industry in the future!', are currently active.
