Morita Co., Ltd. to Open "Lawson Shodoshima Uchinomi Store" on April 3!

Morita Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture / Representative Director and President: Shusaku Higaki), a subsidiary of JFLA Holdings Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director and President: Shusaku Higaki), will open its "Lawson Shodoshima Uchinomi Store" on April 3, 2026. This opening will bring the total number of Lawson stores on Shodoshima Island to three.

Morita Co., Ltd.'s predecessor, Marukin Shoyu Co., Ltd., was founded in 1907 (Meiji 40) at the current site of Morita Shodoshima Factory (1850 Noe Ko, Shodoshima-cho, Shodoshima-gun, Kagawa Prefecture). Since then, it has been rooted in Shodoshima, diligently engaged in soy sauce manufacturing.

Amidst a declining population and aging society, Morita has decided to operate this store, believing it can contribute not only to improving the daily convenience for residents of Shodoshima but also for tourists visiting the island.

As a member of the local community, we will continue to explore further initiatives to support the lives of the people of Shodoshima.
