However, we ask:
"What if fluids themselves had a 'voice' and could communicate anomalies to people?"
Itumo Co., Ltd.'s fluid AI agent "ABYSS" was born to give shape to that dream.
The World ABYSS Realizes
ABYSS is a unique AI model that combines physical laws with actual fluid imagery. Targeting fluids such as water, oil, and chemical solutions, it analyzes liquid level fluctuations, bubbles, foaming, scum, oil film, turbidity, leakage, and flow changes from existing camera footage, achieving anomaly detection, pre-symptom detection, and status monitoring.
Its greatest feature is the ability to utilize existing cameras as "fluid sensors." There is no need to install new sensors; the cameras already present on-site transform into advanced monitoring devices.
Because it models the physical behavior of fluids, rather than relying solely on statistical pattern matching, it can capture complex and subtle changes that occur on-site.
Our Vision for 2030
Our dream is to realize a "social infrastructure with zero accidents and zero disasters" through ABYSS.
Specifically, we envision the following future:

And one day, we want to create a daily life where all fluids worldwide have a "voice," communicate anomalies themselves, and protect society before humans even notice.
Passing on Experts' "Eyes" to the Next Generation
Another dream of ABYSS is to connect on-site wisdom to the future.
The "visual assessment of anomalies" cultivated by veteran engineers through years of experience is now being lost amidst severe labor shortages and generational change. ABYSS continuously captures these expert eyes as video data and visualizes them in an easy-to-understand format, digitally transferring this person-dependent know-how to the next generation.
