With the rapid development of information and communication technology in recent years, its convenience and the aftermath of increasingly sophisticated threats are having an unprecedented impact on the operations of local governments. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications continues to issue guidelines for various measures in response to social conditions, but among them, the "Guidelines on Information Security Policies" have been revised at a pace of once every two to three years since FY2015, and the development of infrastructure in local governments is right now in a transition period toward "implementation and establishment."
In this seminar, we will present the latest trends in the information policy departments of local governments brought about by the March 2025 revision of the "Guidelines on Information Security Policies" and predictions regarding future data governance.
We will explain how to balance "robust security" and "convenience" by approaching the structure of information systems, interweaving the latest case studies from not only the main offices but also branch departments such as the Board of Education.
Please take this opportunity to watch.
