ISFNET Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yukiyoshi Watanabe; hereinafter 'ISFNET') is launching the 'Quartet Project,' an evolved career design initiative aimed at ensuring stable engineer utilization for clients and sustainable career development for ISFNET's IT infrastructure engineers.

This career design model involves a four-party team (the 'Quartet')—comprising the client, ISFNET sales, the technical education department, and the dispatched engineer—working together to design and nurture the engineer's career. With the client's consent, a 'medical chart' (karte) detailing the engineer's current skill set and future career plan is created. This allows for the visualization of the engineer's growth and ensures concrete skill advancement.

Through the 'Quartet Project,' clients can utilize engineers who continue to grow in line with future plans, while ISFNET engineers can build their careers with peace of mind, even while working at client sites.

◆ Background: The 'Negative Cycle' in the IT Industry

In recent years, the severe shortage of IT engineers in the labor market has become a major challenge for companies promoting DX. Meanwhile, engineers are often overwhelmed by daily tasks and struggle to envision long-term careers amidst rapidly evolving IT technologies. Companies utilizing IT talent expect continuous skill improvement as their businesses grow; however, they often lack internal training resources, leading to a cycle of constantly searching for 'immediate assets' externally.

To address this 'anxiety regarding future careers' for engineers and the 'investment in education' for companies, ISFNET is launching the 'Quartet Project' to design and nurture engineer growth alongside clients. By becoming a 'human capital partner' for our clients, we will co-design the development and utilization of engineers to create future growth together.
