Launch of the Just-Right Power Source with a Water Bottle Feel: Battery Station Bottle Type

Iris Ohyama Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Representative Director and President: Akihiro Oyama) will sequentially launch the 'Battery Station Bottle Type,' a slim cylindrical power source convenient for daily use, from June 11, 2026, primarily through internet sites and home centers nationwide (*1).

Since the company launched the Battery Station in July 2024, it has been well-received for its compact, lightweight yet large-capacity battery that can easily power various devices in places without electricity, as well as for its disaster preparedness applications. On the other hand, fire accidents caused by storage batteries have been increasing in recent years, and regulations on their use in aircraft have been strengthened, raising concerns about safety. Against this backdrop, products that combine everyday portability with safety are in demand.

The new 'Battery Station Bottle Type' features a battery capacity and size that falls between a mobile battery and a portable power station. It packs a 40,000mAh battery while achieving a slim cylindrical shape and a lightweight design of approximately 1.15 kg. The body is about the size of a 660ml PET bottle, offering high portability; it can be stored in a backpack's side pocket or a standard drink holder, making it suitable for a wide range of uses including business, outdoor activities, leisure, and disaster preparedness.

The built-in battery uses a lithium iron phosphate battery (*2). Lithium iron phosphate batteries are highly safe due to their stable structure, making them less prone to heat-related issues. This product can be used for over 10 years even with 200 uses per year, and its design suppresses deterioration during daily use. Additionally, its low self-discharge rate means the battery level does not decrease easily when not in use.

It supports a maximum output of 65W, allowing about 9 recharges for a smartphone (3,000mAh), about 1.5 recharges for a laptop (70Wh), and about 3 recharges for a tablet (8,000mAh). It has two USB Type-C™ (*3) ports and one USB Type-A (*3) port, enabling simultaneous charging of up to three devices. Furthermore, it features IP54 dust and water resistance for outdoor use, an LED light for illumination during power outages or at night outdoors, and an LCD panel for at-a-glance battery level confirmation.
