IRIS OHYAMA Inc. (Headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Akihiro Oyama) announced that four of its manufactured and sold home appliances have received the "Red Dot Design Award 2026" (※1), one of the world's top three design awards. This year marks the highest number of awards received by the company in this competition (※2).

Furthermore, with this achievement, the "Circulator WOOZOO 360 barrel (KCF-CDP18TEC1-H)" has achieved a triple award, combining the "Good Design Award 2025" (※3) and the "iF Design Award 2026" (※4). In addition, the "Rechargeable Stick Cleaner MagiCaleena High Power Model" and "LED Ceiling Light Design Frame 6 types" have received double awards with the "iF Design Award 2026" (※4). The "Auto-feed Shredder 28L/37L" is the company's first shredder product to receive an award.

The "Red Dot Design Award" is an internationally prestigious design award organized by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany, held annually since 1955. It is divided into three categories: "Product Design," "Brands & Communication Design," and "Design Concept," judged by global design experts. Each year, many companies, organizations, and designers apply, covering excellent designs and trends worldwide.

Award-Winning Product Overview

① Circulator WOOZOO 360 barrel (KCF-CDP18TEC1-H)

This circulator achieves a sophisticated and luxurious appearance with its cylindrical shape, fabric-like design, and metallic luster on the base, creating an elegant living space. When powered off, it stops in a cylindrical state from its operating position, blending seamlessly into living rooms and bedrooms as an interior accent. With a maximum oscillation of 360 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically, it can circulate air throughout the entire room. By finely adjusting the angle and directing airflow from bottom to top for clothing, it can reduce clothes drying time by approximately 62% (※5). It can be disassembled without tools, and the guard and blades are washable, making maintenance easy. Furthermore, for the first time in our circulator series, the remote control comes with a magnet, allowing it to be stored on the left or right side of the main unit or on a magnetic board, preventing loss of the remote control.

② Rechargeable Stick Cleaner MagiCaleena High Power Model

While maintaining a lightweight body of approximately 1.1kg, this high-power model in the series achieves approximately twice the suction power (※7) of conventional products (※6) through the adoption of a high-performance DC brushless motor and our unique design. Equipped with the "Kiwamade Head," which has diagonally placed bristles at both ends of the head's back to reduce gaps with walls, it prevents missed dust and debris along walls that are difficult to clean. Furthermore, by adopting a brush with four times the bristle volume (※7) compared to conventional products (※6) on the head, hair and other debris are less likely to tangle, making maintenance easy. In addition, with the electrostatic mop clean system, dust on shelves can be cleaned simultaneously with the floor while vacuuming. After cleaning, the electrostatic mop can be inserted into the bottom of the charging stand to remove static electricity, and the dust attached to the electrostatic mop can be sucked up by the vacuum cleaner. The paper pack type includes 50 disposable dust bags, equivalent to approximately five years' worth (※8).
