Intellias, a global technology partner providing AI-driven services and solutions in the mobility sector with over 3,200 software experts across 17 countries, has opened a Tokyo office as part of its ongoing commitment to the Japanese market. The office features 'IntelliKit,' an automotive technology platform for OEMs developing next-generation cockpit systems, marking its first installation in Asia and providing a cutting-edge development environment for the SDV era. Intellias has built strong partnerships with over 30 automotive clients, including premium Western OEMs and advanced EV manufacturers, with its software powering over 170 million vehicles worldwide. With this new office, Intellias aims to work closely with Japanese OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to support SDV development and AI integration from a flat, collaborative perspective. Located in Nishi-Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, the office opened on April 1, 2026, under the leadership of Takafumi Tanno, Head of Mobility Japan. As the Japanese automotive industry accelerates its transition to SDVs, software development capabilities and AI utilization have become key sources of competitiveness. Intellias aims to function not merely as an external vendor, but as an 'extended team' that supports and accelerates in-house development, significantly enhancing speed and efficiency. Furthermore, the permanent installation of the 'IntelliKit' SDV software demonstrator provides an environment to accelerate the development of next-generation cockpit systems, covering everything from embedded software to cloud connectivity.
