A glamping village with 6 rooms located in the countryside of Futtsu, Chiba.

A 200-year-old traditional house and 16 rescue cats. Please spend a healing time with nature and animals.

How to Spend the Daytime

Climbing slopes with a woven basket on your back, or exploring the forest. You can enjoy an old-fashioned "original experience" where you play using your whole body.

How to Spend the Nighttime

Chatting slowly while watching the flames of a bonfire. A cat is curled up and sleeping next to you before you know it. Such a day in the countryside is a common sight at Washinmura.

About the Facilities

Dotted around the premises are a traditional house built about 200 years ago, a Nagayamon gate, tents, and snow peak Jyubako, where we live together with the following animals.

Regarding Animal Treats

Under the guidance of a veterinarian, and to manage the physical condition of the cats, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing in store-bought treats.

If you wish to give them treats, please purchase the treats sold at the Washinmura shop (additive-free, domestically sourced ingredients, carefully selected). *Sold in limited quantities.

Other Notices

- The cats live freely on the premises. Please be careful if you have allergies. - The animals are capricious, so we do not know which room they will visit. They will not necessarily always come. - The cats and dogs at Washinmura are spayed/neutered and given vaccines and tick prevention medication.
