How to spend the night: Chat slowly while watching the flames of a bonfire. A cat is curled up and sleeping next to you before you know it. Such a day in the satoyama is a common scene at Washin-mura. About the facility: The premises are dotted with a 200-year-old traditional house, a gatehouse, tents, and snow peak 'Jubako' cabins, and we live with the following animals: 15 rescued cats + 1 (living in the dormitory), goats, dogs, and Silkie chickens.
