2026: A New Chapter for Washinmura

In 2026, Washinmura begins to move into a new chapter. What we aim for is a place that goes beyond just a 'place to stay.' We want to create a 'village' itself, wrapped in the rich cycle of life of the satoyama, where you can be truly healed. We have released our 2026 roadmap, filled with that determination. This includes completing a treehouse, a 'Satoyama Dining' experience where you can enjoy wellness around a fire, 'pesticide-free soil making' to ensure a safe place for both people and animals, 'retreat stays' to nurture the sensibilities of the next generation, and an 'original goods brand' to bring the healing of the satoyama into daily life. Everything is to connect the rich cycle of life here to the future. Currently, we are also holding the 'Kotatsu and Mandarin Orange Festival' until the end of February.
