IMSI, the International College of Natural Therapies (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo https://www.imsi.co.jp), aims to realize a society where each individual can care for themselves and their loved ones by spreading education that systematically teaches natural therapy, phytotherapy, and touching.

We aim to create a society where each individual can care for themselves and their loved ones.

The Background to Realizing This Dream

In modern society, stress and environmental changes continue to make it easy for people to lose their physical and mental balance. On the other hand, opportunities to learn knowledge for daily self-care or caring for family members are still insufficient.

For approximately 30 years, IMSI has been working to foster therapists and promote a self-care culture through natural therapy education as an accredited school of the UK IFPA (International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists).

In our busy daily lives, we often put our own needs last.

You might feel tired even after trying hard, or feel restless. You might not know what to do, even if it's not something you'd consult someone about.

Many people probably experience such moments.

Through our interactions with many students over the years, we have seen numerous situations where knowing 'self-care' brings peace of mind.

・ Engaging with scents.

・ Gentle touching.

・ Paying attention to one's own condition.

Small, everyday care, not special things, can lead to comfort.

Taking care of oneself also leads to caring for others.

IMSI hopes that more people will be able to care for themselves and their loved ones through the option of natural therapy.

We believe that this accumulation will lead to

a future where natural therapy becomes a social infrastructure.

IMSI's Initiatives

Bringing Global Knowledge to Japan

IMSI partners with specialized institutions in various countries, such as UK IFPA (Aromatherapy), South Africa DI (Reflexology), and Vietnamese Yido (Dien Chan), to provide an educational environment where students can learn international standard natural therapies while in Japan.

We have also hosted international seminars by leading experts from countries such as the UK, Netherlands, USA, and Vietnam, introducing clinically based knowledge and techniques to Japan.

We are committed to conveying natural therapies developed overseas in a way that can be utilized in Japanese society.

Promoting Care Applicable to Daily Life

IMSI has developed a curriculum that allows students to learn natural therapy not only as relaxation but also as a complementary therapy that comprehensively addresses mind and body. We are committed to disseminating knowledge and techniques that can be utilized in medical, welfare, education, and wellness fields.

Furthermore, through activities such as school festivals and welfare facility engagements, we are expanding opportunities to share natural therapy as wisdom that can be useful in society.

By expanding learning opportunities for natural therapy not only to specialists but also to the general public, we hope that natural therapy will become something that is commonly used in society, not just for special people.

We will continue to provide learning opportunities that serve as a step towards this goal.

*"April Dream" is a project by PR TIMES where companies announce their dreams they wish to achieve on April 1st. We are seriously committed to realizing this dream.
