IMADEYA Operator IMADEYA Co., Ltd. Strengthens Management Structure; Azusa Ogura Appointed Vice President, Takashi Ishikawa Appointed Managing Director.

IMADEYA Co., Ltd. (Location: Nitona-cho, Chuo-ku, Chiba City; Representative Director: Shuichi Ogura; hereinafter "the Company"), which operates the "IMADEYA" sake specialty shops with the slogan "Sake is interesting" in Chiba (main store), GINZA SIX, Kinshicho PARCO, Chiba Ekinaka, Kiyosumi-shirakawa, Karuizawa, and Matsuzakaya Nagoya, announces that it will transition to a new executive structure effective April 1, 2026. Current Senior Managing Director Azusa Ogura will be appointed as Vice President, and current Executive Officer Takashi Ishikawa will be appointed as Managing Director. Additionally, as previously announced, Saya Ogura, a member of the founding family, will assume the position of Executive Officer on the same date.

Accordingly, the management structure for this fiscal year will be as follows:

Profile of Azusa Ogura Born in 1965 in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Born as the eldest daughter to parents who ran a wholesale business for children's toys in Asakusa. Active from a young age, her 10-year experience in the Labo Party, which focused on international exchange and language, has had a significant influence on her various subsequent activities. After graduating from high school, she moved to the United States for language studies. A few years later, she returned to Japan due to family circumstances and joined a yacht import and sales company, where she learned general management. Later, through her connection with Shuichi Ogura, she joined him in building the current IMADEYA as Senior Managing Director. In 1990, she launched the wine department at IMADEYA, which had almost zero sales at the time, and has since made the growth of the Japanese wine industry her life's work. She has no particular hobbies, but enjoys dining, reading, and wearing kimono, and considers the time spent thinking about IMADEYA to be her greatest purpose in life.

Message from Azusa Ogura 36 years have passed in the blink of an eye since I married into the IMADEYA family. I realize that my current work, which focuses on Japanese sake, holds infinite wonderful possibilities, even while facing various challenges every day. Sake is truly interesting, isn't it? To create a further future, I have decided to pass the baton of practical operations to a reliable next-generation team. Moving forward, as Vice President, I intend to continue taking on new challenges that I can personally handle, while passing on the culture that IMADEYA has cherished to the next generation. I sincerely ask for your continued strict, and sometimes warm, guidance and encouragement.

Profile of Takashi Ishikawa Born in 1968 in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo. Influenced by his father, who worked for a securities company, he transferred schools across the country until junior high school and was passionate about basketball. Later, he entered the Faculty of Letters at Chuo University. He spent his weekends working part-time as a server at wedding halls and his weekdays skiing and traveling domestically and internationally. Attracted by the charm of sake, which accompanies people's lives, he joined Sapporo Breweries in 1990. He gained experience in sales in Kobe, Chiba, Sapporo, Tokyo, and Fukuoka. From 1994, he was in charge of IMADEYA Co., Ltd. from the sales side for six years. Later, he served as Advertising Department Manager, Human Resources Department Manager, and Executive Officer/General Manager of the West Japan Headquarters, learning general management. In 2025, he retired from Sapporo Breweries and was appointed as an Executive Officer of IMADEYA Co., Ltd. He is in charge of the restaurant wholesale business division and the human resources division.
