Ichigo Tennis Club's Yuto Ohki to Compete in the Tokyo Ariake International Open 2026 Next Week

As part of its sports support activities, Ichigo operates sports clubs for weightlifting, track and field, and tennis. Together with Tegevajaro Miyazaki, a J2 club for which it serves as club owner, the company is working to contribute to local communities and build sustainable communities through sports.

We are pleased to announce that Yuto Ohki, a professional from the Ichigo Tennis Club, will compete in the Tokyo Ariake International Open 2026, to be held from Sunday, June 7 to Sunday, June 14 at Ariake Tennis no Mori Park in Tokyo.

Now in his third year as a professional, Ohki has been competing mainly in the ITF Futures Tour since last year, aiming to win a Futures title and break into the world top 500. In April of this year, he participated in the Miyazaki Challenger, an ATP Challenger tournament held for the first time in his hometown of Miyazaki, and achieved a major upset by defeating the top seed in singles. As of April 2026, Ohki is ranked 45th in Japan (JTA Men's Singles) and 954th in the world (ATP Men's Singles).

The Tokyo Ariake International Open 2026, in which Ohki will participate, is scheduled to begin with qualifying rounds on Sunday, June 7.

■ Tokyo Ariake International Open

The Tokyo Ariake International Open is a historic tournament that began in 2006. Many young players from Japan and abroad have participated, engaging in fierce battles with their sights set on the world stage. The 2026 edition will be held as a joint men's and women's tournament for the first time since 2017.
