Nature Innovation Group Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shoji Marukawa; hereinafter "iKasa"), which operates the umbrella sharing service "iKasa" with the mission of "making rainy and sunny days comfortable and happy" and "zero disposable umbrellas," will install new "iKasa" rental spots (umbrella stands) at three stations: Sagami-Ono Station, Odakyu-Sagamihara Station, and Higashi-Rinkan Station, and start the service from Friday, April 3, 2026.
Starting with this installation, the company will accelerate its efforts to install "iKasa" at all stations on the Odakyu Line (excluding Odakyu Tama Center Station), and will gradually expand to stations on the Odawara Line (towards Hon-Atsugi and Odawara) and the Enoshima Line. From Shinjuku Station to Odawara Station and Katase-Enoshima Station, the goal is to build an environment where people can travel comfortably across the entire line without having to buy plastic umbrellas or parasols, whether it is raining or sunny.
Background of the New Installation iKasa and Odakyu Electric Railway will now begin full-scale introduction to uninstalled areas. This is not only to improve the convenience of daily life for people living along the lines, but also to provide a comfortable excursion environment unaffected by the weather for tourists, as a railway line that provides access to some of Japan's leading tourist destinations such as 'Odawara' and 'Katase-Enoshima'.
