Announcement of the Recipients of the Reiwa 7th Fiscal Year Public Trust Fund for the Promotion of Clinical Laboratory Medicine Research "Koichiro Fujita Award," "Nozomi Osakai Award," and "Research Grant"

The Public Trust Fund for the Promotion of Clinical Laboratory Medicine Research (Operating Committee Chairman: Yasushi Takagi, Professor Emeritus of Showa University, hereinafter referred to as "the Fund"), which is entrusted by our consolidated subsidiaries SRL Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Makoto Matsumoto, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as "SRL") and Fuji Rebio Inc. (Representative Director and President: Takeshi Fujita, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as "Fuji Rebio"), announced the recipients of the Reiwa 7th Fiscal Year "Koichiro Fujita Award," "Nozomi Osakai Award," and "Research Grant" at a recently held operating committee meeting, and an award ceremony was held.

The Fund was established in 1988 with the aim of fostering researchers in the field of clinical laboratory medicine (clinical pathology, clinical laboratory diagnostics, laboratory diagnostics, pathological laboratory science, etc.). In this Fund, SRL and Fuji Rebio serve as the settlors, and Mizuho Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. serves as the trustee, presenting research grants to young researchers who are active in the field and are recognized for their high academic contributions. In addition, since 1990, the "Nozomi Osakai Award" has been presented as an award for researchers who have achieved outstanding results even five years after receiving a research grant. Since 2003, the "Koichiro Fujita Award," named after our company's founder, has been presented as an award for clinical laboratory specialists who have made remarkable achievements over many years in the operation and management of clinical laboratory medicine and clinical laboratories.
