HPE is strengthening its data foundation for AI and modern workloads by expanding the unified data layer, adding new native file storage, scale-out block storage, and extending management capabilities with agentic AI. This accelerates AI data pipelines using intelligent data and transforms how enterprises manage, protect, and utilize data across the organization.

HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000: Expands data access methods by offering new native file storage on a single platform alongside existing object storage. The X10000 scales to up to 16 nodes and up to 23PB of physical capacity, with a new 100% data availability guarantee for uninterrupted application operation (Note 1). It also supports RDMA-enabled file storage in addition to existing RDMA-enabled S3 (object storage). These features simplify data storage and access across the entire AI pipeline, including training, inference, and KV cache. Additionally, the X10000 Data Protection Accelerator Node delivers industry-leading backup ingestion performance of up to 2.5PB/hour, further expanding support for use cases such as analytics, cyber resilience, and backup.
