One of Kaga’s Four Hot Springs. Yamashiro Onsen, with a 1,300-year history, was praised by haiku master Matsuo Basho as one of Japan’s three great springs alongside Kusatsu and Arima. Features include the 1.3km Kakusenkei walking path, the historic "Korogi Bridge" made entirely of cypress, and seasonal riverbed dining (April–November).
