Marion Co., Ltd., operating approximately 100 "Marion Crepe" stores, faced issues with scattered data due to rapid expansion. To address this, a data integration project was initiated. POS, attendance management, and core systems were linked with a data warehouse (DWH). Robotic Process Automation (RPA) was implemented for automatic data updates, which also automated daily and monthly report generation for stores, reducing employee workload. Following data integration, Looker Studio was deployed as a Business Intelligence (BI) tool. Dashboards, sourced from the integrated data, visualize existing KPIs and incorporate new metrics, allowing accurate management of sales and COGS per store. This enables quicker operational improvements and strategy development. Moving forward, Marion Crepe plans to expand this data analysis platform to franchised stores and to further leverage the integrated data. Future data utilization prospects include AI-driven demand forecasting to optimize raw material ordering for crepes, and an AI/mathematical optimization-based COGS alert system. The service provider will continue to support Marion Co., Ltd. in expanding its data analysis platform and utilizing AI for data.
