Corridor Grape Festa 2026

Risonare Yatsugatake, a resort hotel nestled in the lush Yatsugatake highlands, will host the 'Corridor Grape Festa 2026' from August 29 to September 27, 2026. The event celebrates autumn’s beloved delicacy—grapes—where Yamanashi Prefecture leads Japan in both production volume and cultivated area. This year, a new 'Luxury Grape Parfait Packed with Five Rare Varieties' will debut, along with two types of 'Grape Frappes' that let guests savor the full flavor of grapes. Additionally, the popular 'Grape Wagon' returns to Pepper Street, allowing guests to purchase grapes by the single berry and create their own custom combinations. This festival is a celebration of the rich and diverse flavors of autumn’s finest grapes.

Background

Grapes are a quintessential autumn treat, and Yamanashi Prefecture, where Risonare Yatsugatake is located, has been cultivating grapes for approximately 1,300 years. Today, it boasts the largest grape cultivation area and the highest production volume in Japan. (*1) The prefecture grows a wide variety of grape cultivars, each with unique appearances and flavor profiles. This event was conceived to allow visitors to fully enjoy Yamanashi’s prized seasonal harvest.
