Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Panasonic") will launch a new product in its "Jet Nozzle" lineup for heat management on May 29, 2026. This product is compatible with Φ200 air ducts, commonly used in large spaces such as factories, and reduces the user's perceived temperature by up to 2.2°C simply by attaching it to the duct tip.

In recent years, the increase in extreme heat days has led to growing needs for heat countermeasures, particularly in large spaces like factories due to the nature of the work environment. In 2023, Panasonic launched the "Jet Nozzle" NK-12JNA, which reduces the user's perceived temperature by up to 2.9°C just by attaching it to the tip of spot air conditioning units. This product fits Φ120–150 ducts commonly used with spot cooling, and can be used without the need for duct replacement or construction. Its unique special multi-layer structure suppresses the intake of surrounding warm air, efficiently delivers cold air to the user, and effectively reduces the WBGT (heat stress index), leading to its adoption by many customers.

The newly launched NK-20JNA supports Φ200 ducts used in large spaces such as automotive factories, and reduces the user's perceived temperature by up to 2.2°C. This allows usage without excessively lowering the air conditioning set temperature, leading to a maximum 11.3% reduction in power consumption. Furthermore, the condensation-resistant structure makes it less prone to water droplets in summer usage environments, allowing for use in a wider variety of locations.

With this product, Panasonic continues to contribute to creating comfortable environments for customers by providing not only heat management solutions but also energy solutions.
