Panasonic Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. has developed 'VERZEUSE(R) for TARA' (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment), a solution compliant with the ISO/SAE 21434 international standard, and has begun providing a free trial version to vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.

VERZEUSE(R) for TARA comprehensively analyzes cybersecurity risks for vehicles and on-board equipment during the early stages of development, delivering results compliant with ISO/SAE 21434 in a short timeframe. Even developers without deep security expertise can determine countermeasure requirements based on equipment characteristics by simply answering a multiple-choice questionnaire. This process leverages Panasonic's 'Threat Intelligence' database, which accumulates information on threats, vulnerabilities, and management measures.

The trial version supports a wide range of configurations, from the complex vehicle architectures of the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) era to simple ECU setups. It allows developers themselves, rather than security specialists, to conduct threat and vulnerability analyses, providing a hands-on experience of significant man-hour reductions compared to traditional methods.

VERZEUSE(R) for TARA will be showcased at 'Interop Tokyo 2026,' scheduled for June 10-12, 2026.
