Announcing the Launch of the "Direct Drive Turntable System" SL-1500CW

Panasonic Corporation will release the Technics brand Direct Drive Turntable System SL-1500CW in mid-June 2026(*). This model achieves high-quality sound with features like a single-rotor coreless direct-drive motor, a two-layer platter, and a two-layer chassis. It also includes a built-in phono equalizer, allowing direct connection to audio equipment without a PHONO input. Furthermore, a cartridge is included, so even first-time turntable users can connect it and enjoy playing records immediately. It also features an auto-lift function that automatically raises the tonearm at the end of a record, supporting a more comfortable listening experience.
