Kitakomi City, Yamanashi Prefecture (Mayor: Kunihiko Oshibai) has launched a project through the 'Government Crowdfunding®' system—a crowdfunding-style hometown tax donation program—to upgrade the 'Furusato Exchange Facility Stama Natural Health Village: Masutomi no Yu' into a safe, long-term operational facility.

Project Overview

'Masutomi no Yu,' known for its rich radium content, has been cherished by many since its opening in 1997 (Heisei 9).

However, after years of operation, the entire facility has deteriorated and is currently closed.

With strong public anticipation for its reopening, the city will now carry out facility renovations and upgrades to ensure safe and sustainable operations for years to come.

Use of Donations
