Kita no Shokuhin Co., Ltd., part of the Hokkaido Confect Group, will open its first physical store, 'Ryoushi no Nigirimeshi', in Sapporo on May 21, 2026. The store specializes in winged grilled rice balls flavored with salmon flakes and served with dashi soup for 660 yen. The dish features their long-selling dashi furikake, 'Ryoushi no Chikarameshi,' which has been highly popular at Hokkaido product exhibitions nationwide. Customers can enjoy the crispy yet fluffy rice ball on its own, and finish it as a delicious dashi chazuke by pouring the soup over it.
