(President: Go Hasegawa), announced it will provide free, full-page access to its June 3rd digital edition via its "Paper Viewer" starting at 5:00 AM, in anticipation of newspaper delivery delays in the Kanto region caused by Typhoon No. 6. The "Paper Viewer" service, which allows users to view the latest newspaper edition on smartphones and tablets, was launched on March 7 of this year. Existing newspaper subscribers can register as "Sports Hochi Members" (free) using their Yomiuri ID and the QR code printed daily in the paper. The service offers access to the Tokyo, Osaka, Seibu, and Chubu editions, allowing readers to obtain region-specific information such as public sports results. Additionally, monthly subscribers can access the "Non-publication Day Special Edition" (180 yen including tax)—previously unavailable—for free via the QR code in the previous day's issue. As a special edition will be published on June 15, current subscribers are encouraged to enjoy it via the Paper Viewer.
