Hotel Management International Co., Ltd. (HMI Hotel Group / Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Ryuko Hira) will open the "Hamamatsu Marriott Hotel," the first Marriott brand hotel in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, on Friday, May 1, 2026.

HMI Hotel Group has formed a partnership with Marriott International. Through this alliance, seven facilities, including the newly opening "Hamamatsu Marriott Hotel," have been added to Marriott International's global portfolio. As part of this initiative, the existing "Grand Hotel Hamamatsu" will be renovated into the "Hamamatsu Marriott Hotel." It will reopen as the second rebranded hotel, following the successful rebranding of the "Kobe Marriott Hotel."
