Sakai Moving Service Co., Ltd. has acquired Tokai Service Center, an electrical construction company, as a subsidiary.
Sakai Moving Service Co., Ltd. (Sakai City, Osaka; President: Tetsuyasu Tajima; hereinafter "Sakai Moving Service") acquired all shares of Tokai Service Center Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Koichi Inada), a key business partner specializing in electrical construction services, on March 30, 2026, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.
This acquisition is part of our group's mid-to-long-term growth strategy, aimed at strengthening peripheral service areas that have high affinity with our moving business. Tokai Service Center possesses a nationwide franchise network in electrical construction and facility-related services, and we expect significant synergies with the various needs that arise before and after moving (such as electrical work, equipment installation, and maintenance).
Through this acquisition, we will combine our customer base with Tokai Service Center's service network to expand value-added services associated with moving and maximize revenue opportunities.
