The Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), a non-profit organization based in Minato-ku, Tokyo (Representative Director: Ryoji Noritake), will host a hybrid-format symposium titled 'Next Actions to Maximize the Health Check System' on July 6, 2026.

Recent evidence has revealed that cardiovascular diseases, kidney disorders, and metabolic conditions not only share common risk factors but also mutually accelerate each other through cardio-renal-metabolic interconnections. This symposium will examine strategies to connect health screenings to treatment and continuous care, focusing on the integration of health check data with clinical data. The discussion will incorporate international debates on adding serum creatinine to mandatory health checks and on genetic cardiovascular risks. Patients, policymakers, experts, insurers, and government officials will gather to explore future directions.
