[Held June 15, Free Admission] Kick-off Panel Discussion: 'A Philosophical Dialogue Fostered Together from Japan and Africa to the World'

The non-profit Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) will hold a kick-off panel discussion, 'A Philosophical Dialogue Fostered Together from Japan and Africa to the World,' on June 15, 2026. This event aims to re-examine spirituality in global health and create a forum for dialogue translatable into policy, business, and international relations. Experts from diverse fields such as medical policy, development finance, medical anthropology, philosophy, and faith ethics will gather to explore the question: 'How can Japan and Africa discuss life, aging, sickness, and death together, beyond the framework of modern medicine and development?' The event will be held in person in Tokyo with Japanese-English simultaneous interpretation.
