We support the 'April Dream' project, which aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams. This press release is the dream of 'HelpTech'.
◆ "The system has changed, but the regions have not." AI adoption subsidies, reskilling grants, labor-saving investment subsidies, business improvement grants—in recent years, systems to encourage 'investment in people' have been established one after another. The government is certainly moving.
But what is the reality? Even if people want to relearn while raising children, there are no opportunities in the region. Even if local SMEs want to use these systems, they don't know who to consult. Talented individuals are unable to demonstrate their potential while staying in their regions.
Even if the system changes, if it doesn't reach the people, nothing has changed. HelpTech continues to face this 'invisible gap between the system and the field.'
◆ Are only large companies in urban areas allowed to be the 'protagonists of transformation'? SMEs support about 70% of employment in Japan. And most of them are in regional areas. Large companies lead DX, and startups in urban areas create industries. That is also an important transformation.
However— When the president of a local factory decides to invest, believing in the potential of their employees. When a staff member working while raising a child acquires new skills and shows a smile. When a company that thought 'it has nothing to do with us' takes its first step into DX.
Isn't that also a power to change the future of this country?
◆ Last year's dream, and beyond Last year, we asked this question: "Must there only be one 'hero'? We will realize a society (party) where everyone leads the world!"
One year later, HelpTech has continued to implement the answer to this question on the ground in Fukuoka. Total supported companies: 296. Total application amount: over 9.4 billion yen. Success rate: 97%. Behind each of these numbers, there is a business owner who thought 'it's impossible for us.' There is a company that took its first step into employee training. There is a moment when a challenge that was given up on because the system was unknown began to move.
Heroes were there from the beginning. They just didn't know how to get their weapons. And we realized. Delivering weapons is not enough. We need to be a presence that thinks about how to fight together and keeps running as a companion.
◆ Three approaches HelpTech takes to 'turn systems into on-site power' HelpTech combines subsidy application support, reskilling support through Re:Learning, and organizational culture consulting to create an environment where local SMEs can naturally 'invest in people.'
1. System Utilization Support: Breaking the wall of 'no money' with the power of the system. 2. Re:Learning: Delivering options for relearning that are not bound by place or time. 3. Organizational Culture Consulting: Accompanying clients until they achieve 'job satisfaction' beyond the system.
◆ From Representative Noriaki Takahashi "The government created the 'map' called the system. But you can't walk with just a map. We want to create a mechanism that turns that map into a 'compass' and walks with local business owners. The 296 business owners I met in Fukuoka taught me that there is potential sleeping in local SMEs that no one has seen yet. Lighting a fire in that potential. That is our job and our dream."
◆ Realizing a 'society where everyone can join the party' from Fukuoka Our dream is simple. Even if you are born in a regional area, you don't have to give up on relearning. Even if you work for an SME, you can believe in your own potential. Even if you are raising children or caring for family, you don't have to stop growing.
Such a society, first from Fukuoka. And then to the whole country. HelpTech's April Dream is to prove that 'the region is the site of transformation.' We will implement a society where everyone can join the party, starting from Fukuoka. The hero's adventure has already begun.
