Helpful Inc. (Location: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuya Wada) launched the Shopify app 'Store Inventory Visible' on the Shopify App Store on March 14, 2026.

Background In omnichannel operations that utilize both physical stores and e-commerce, inventory inquiries such as 'Is this item available at XX store?' often become a burden for operations staff. This app was developed to resolve this issue.

What is 'Store Inventory Visible'? It is a Shopify app that displays the inventory status (In Stock / Few Remaining / Out of Stock) of each store in real-time on the product page. By automatically reflecting inventory changes and allowing customers to check stock before visiting, it prevents wasted trips and reduces the need for inquiry handling.

Enabling Inventory Display Impossible with Liquid Shopify themes are built with Liquid (Shopify's proprietary template language), but Liquid can only access inventory for the online store location. Therefore, it is impossible by design to display the inventory status of multiple locations, such as physical stores, using only the theme.

'Store Inventory Visible' bypasses this limitation by using the Admin API. It retrieves inventory information for all locations in real-time, which cannot be referenced by Liquid, and displays it on the product page.
