Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Fukushima Ward, President: Yusuke Kusuhara) announced that starting April 1, 2025, transportation staff (such as train operators and station staff) will wear badges designed with the grand prize-winning artwork from the 2025 "My Hanshin Railway" drawing contest, worn below their name tags.

The "My Hanshin Railway" drawing contest was initiated to commemorate the railway's 100th anniversary, aiming to provide children with opportunities to engage with art and to foster a deeper connection with Hanshin Railway through drawing. Last year, the 21st iteration of the contest received 4,105 entries, the second-highest number in its history, bringing the total number of dream-filled drawings of Hanshin Railway to approximately 45,000 over the years.

As a culmination of the company's 120th-anniversary project launched in 2024, Hanshin Electric Railway has decided to implement this badge initiative. This action symbolizes the commitment of train operators and station staff, who are the closest point of contact for children, to respond to their expectations and aspirations for the future.

Hanshin Electric Railway will continue to walk alongside its customers, embracing what is "precious" to them and staying close to the community, with the support of each and every customer.

This initiative is planned to be implemented each year after the drawing contest is held, starting from the next fiscal year.
