Create Summer Vacation Memories: Parent-Child Original Baseball Glove Making Workshop at Dai-ichi Hotel Ryogoku on July 29, 2026 (Wednesday)

Directly connected to Ryogoku Station on the Toei Oedo Subway Line and offering a close view of Tokyo Skytree(R), Dai-ichi Hotel Ryogoku (1-6-1 Yokoami, Sumida-ku; General Manager: Atsushi Kimura) will host a hands-on event for parents and children to create original baseball gloves on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

This event is made possible with the cooperation of the baseball specialty store 'Baseman' and sporting goods manufacturer 'Rawlings Japan LLC,' who share our goal of expanding the baseball-playing population among younger age groups. Parents and children can enjoy an authentic softball glove making experience, stitching together pre-cut materials with leather laces, along with a lunch buffet.

Furthermore, children will receive an 'Official MLB Game Ball,' the same ball used in official MLB games. The event will also feature a talk by our hotel's President and CEO, Yukio Yoshida, a gold medalist in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics baseball competition, who will share stories from his active years. There will also be a display corner with the uniform he wore, his actual gold medal, and photographs.

Price: Parent-Child Pair: 35,000 yen (includes one adult glove, one child glove, and lunch buffet) Additional Person: Adult 18,000 yen / Child 16,000 yen Observer: Adult 4,500 yen / Child 4,000 yen (lunch buffet only) *Participation by adults only or children only is not permitted. *Target age for children is from 4 years old to 6th grade. *For children in the upper grades of elementary school, it is possible to upgrade to an adult glove for an additional 2,000 yen.
