Hankyu Department Stores and Station Shops to Host "Let's Go! George's Exciting Adventure" Event in Conjunction with "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" Collaboration

Commercial facilities such as Hankyu Sanbangai will hold various events including decorations, stamp rallies, and greetings for "Curious George x Hankyu Railway".

Collaboration food & drinks, 7 types in total, will be sold at shops inside and near Hankyu Hankyu stations.

Hankyu Hanshin Building Management Co., Ltd. will hold "Let's Go! George's Exciting Adventure" in conjunction with Hankyu Railway's "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" collaboration project "Let's Go! Exciting George Train" at commercial facilities (Hankyu Sanbangai, NU Chayamachi/NU Chayamachi Plus, Grand Front Osaka Shop & Restaurants, Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens) and shops inside and near Hankyu Hankyu stations, starting sequentially from August 4, 2026 (Tuesday).

"Let's Go! George's Exciting Adventure" is a project that will feature "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" decorations at each commercial facility, campaigns to receive original novelty items exclusive to this event, and the sale of 7 types of collaboration food and drinks at shops inside and near Hankyu Hankyu stations.

We hope that people of all ages, from children to adults, will enjoy the world of "Curious George x Hankyu Railway".

Details of each project, including content and schedule, are as follows.

Overview of Projects at Commercial Facilities

1. In-store Decorations

Original decorations and photo spots for "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" will appear. Curious George, the Man with the Yellow Hat, and his friends will welcome you.

2. Original Novelty Gifts

(1) Hankyu Sanbangai

Customers who spend 1,000 yen (tax included) or more on food and drinks at target stores in Hankyu Sanbangai's UMEDA FOOD HALL will receive an "Original Coaster" or an "Original Placemat" depending on the period.

Customers who spend 1,500 yen (tax included) or more on food and drinks at stores in the Umekita Floor on the 6th floor of the North Building will receive an original sticker.

Location: Umekita Floor, 6th Floor, North Building *"Kinki University Fisheries Laboratory" is excluded.

Dates: September 1 (Tuesday) - September 23 (Wednesday, holiday)

*Original stickers will be handed out at the time of payment.

*Separate bills cannot be combined.

*Even if you spend 1,500 yen (tax included) or more, only one original sticker will be given per person per transaction.

(4) Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens

Customers who spend 1,500 yen (tax included) or more on food and drinks at target stores in Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens Main Building 1F Gardens Kitchen (food court), Plus Building, and Gate Building, and request it, will receive an "Original Smartphone Sticker" (September) or a "Compact Mirror" (October) depending on the period.

Participants who visit all 6 stamp points located in Hankyu Sanbangai and NU Chayamachi/NU Chayamachi Plus and collect all the stamps will receive an original clear file.

4. Dance Stage and Photo Session with Curious George

Curious George will visit Hankyu Sanbangai and Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens. After dancing together, you can take photos with George.

Participation Requirement: Free to watch. Up to 30 groups per session can participate.

*A participation ticket distributed on the day is required for the event. Up to 2 guardians can accompany each child.

*Participation tickets for all sessions will be distributed starting at 9:30 AM on the day near the entrance of Francfranc on the 1st floor of the North Building.

*Limited to children in elementary school or younger.

(2) Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens

Location: Main Building 4F Sky Garden, Konoha Stage

*In case of rain, the event will be held in Gardens Hall.

Date: October 4 (Sunday)

Times: <1> 11:30 AM <2> 2:30 PM

Participation Requirement: Free to watch. Up to 100 groups per session can participate.

*A participation ticket distributed on the day is required for the event. Up to 2 guardians can accompany each child.

*Participation tickets for all sessions will be distributed starting at 10:00 AM on the day in front of the Konoha stage on the 4th floor of the Main Building.

*Limited to children in elementary school or younger.

5. Workshop (Hankyu Sanbangai)

(1) "Make Your Own Can Badge"

Choose your favorite illustration of George from the "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" collaboration and decorate it freely with stickers to create your own can badge.

★About "Curious George"

The picture book "Curious George", published by Rey and Rey in 1941, will celebrate its 85th anniversary in 2026. George, the curious and lovable little monkey who causes delightful mischief and adventures, has become a representative character of the picture book series. The animated version of George, now in its 19th year on NHK Eテレ, is also loved by many across generations. Since its 80th anniversary in 2021, new experiential facilities such as the first-ever dining cafe and playground equipment have opened, and the lineup of merchandise has expanded year by year, making it a highly popular character among all ages and genders.
