Proud Life Corporation (Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture / Representative Director and President: Masaki Mineyama), a member of the Sony LifeCare Group, is pleased to announce the start of recruitment for admission to the care home with nursing services 'Hanakotoba Nishigaoka' (Kita Ward, Tokyo).

With the opening of this home, the total number of locations operated by the company under the 'Hanakotoba' series will be 35, with a total of 2,135 operated rooms.

*Note: The number of operated rooms includes both nursing care homes (nursing care and housing type) and service-attached housing for the elderly.

1. Overview of the Care Home to be Opened

The home is located in a highly convenient area, just a 6-minute walk from the 'Honrenjimae' station on the Toei Mita Line, and easily accessible from the main arterial road, National Route 17 (Nakasendo). Inside the home, we provide a comfortable living space with a warm 'Japanese' atmosphere that has received high praise from residents. Additionally, we are focusing on the IT/ICT initiatives being promoted throughout the company, and in addition to installing monitoring sensors in all rooms, we also utilize recording systems to aim for higher-quality care services than ever before.

・When the admission deposit is 0 yen, the monthly usage fee starts from 273,340 yen (including tax), making it an affordable price range for admission.

・We also offer a 'Prepaid Plan' based on age, which can be chosen at the time of admission.

・Through collaboration with medical institutions such as internal medicine and dentistry, necessary medical examinations can be received within the home after admission.

・We also actively support home-based end-of-life care according to the customer's wishes.

・We provide a 'Beauty Salon' that offers services such as cuts and coloring.

*Note 1: When the admission deposit is 0 yen, a separate key money will be collected. The monthly usage fee does not include the cost of consumables such as diapers, preference items, medical expenses, and the self-pay portion of long-term care insurance.

*Note 2: Outpatient fees and other medical expenses are the responsibility of the resident. Additionally, there may be cases where cooperation with medical institutions or the home is not possible due to the resident's physical condition or necessary medical procedures.

*Note 3: For beauty services, please use the visiting beauty service affiliated with this home (fees are self-pay). However, there may be cases where residents cannot use the service due to their physical condition, etc. Also, prior reservation is required for usage.

3. About the Usage Fees for 'Hanakotoba Nishigaoka'

We offer two types of fee plans: ① Prepaid Plan (partial prepayment of rent equivalent amount) and ② Monthly Payment Plan.

For a single room (Type A) when admitted at the age of 85

*Note: In addition to the monthly usage fee listed above, long-term care insurance self-pay portion, diaper and other consumable costs, medical expenses, etc. will be charged separately.

*Note: When using the Monthly Payment Plan, a key money of 300,000 yen will be collected.

*Note: Rent equivalent amount, prepayment, key money, and management fees are non-taxable. Consumption tax will be applied to other fees.

*Note: Management fees include facility maintenance management fees, common area repair fees, light, heat, water, and environmental sanitation fees for common areas and rooms.

*Note: Food costs are the amount for providing 3 meals a day for 30 days.

*Note: The Prepaid Plan is a plan where part of the rent equivalent amount for the entire life is paid as a prepayment. Based on the specified amortization method, if there is an unamortized portion at the time of departure, it will be refunded. However, if 3 months have passed since admission, the amount received (amount not subject to refund) in preparation for the continuation of the contract exceeding the expected period of residence will not be refunded. On the other hand, if departure occurs within 3 months of admission, the amount not subject to refund will be fully refunded. In this plan, 900,000 yen is not subject to refund, and the remaining 3,600,000 yen will be amortized equally over 60 months.

*Note: In cases where it is judged that the usual care methods and reception methods cannot prevent harm to the life or body of the resident or other residents, etc., departure may be requested based on the opinions of doctors and observation results over a certain period.
