British Elite School 'NLCS Kobe' Starts Construction of World-Class Campus in Rokko Mountain

NLCS Kobe, the Japanese branch of the prestigious North London Collegiate School, has officially commenced construction of its new campus in the Rokko Mountain National Park, Kobe. Designed by renowned Italian architect Michele De Lucchi, the facility is themed 'Campus Coexisting with the Forest' and marks De Lucchi's first-ever school project. The development includes classrooms, a library, an auditorium, and dormitories across six buildings. A groundbreaking ceremony blending Japanese and British traditions is scheduled for May 20, 2026, with the senior school slated to open in 2028.
