Hacobu Inc., a company that solves logistics challenges with the power of data, will implement a functional update to its dispatch order and management service "MOVO Vista (Mubo Vista)" to comprehensively support dispatch operations. The newly added "Delivery Planning Function" and "Real-time Location Sharing Function" will enable end-to-end digital dispatch operations, from planning to ordering, execution, management, and analysis, all within MOVO Vista. Performance data will be naturally accumulated through daily operations, transforming information that was previously buried in analog workflows into an asset for the organization.
Background of the Functional Update
The logistics sector continues to face a shortage of truck drivers. Furthermore, with the planned introduction of the "appropriate cost" system in 2028, which prohibits contracts at freight rates below the cost required for truck transportation, the need to transport goods efficiently with limited vehicles and personnel will increase more than ever. To achieve this, it is essential to numerically grasp and improve on-site realities such as loading efficiency and waiting times.
However, many "dispatch operations," which involve assigning trucks and drivers based on delivery destinations and cargo volume and then requesting services from transport operators, still rely on Excel, FAX, and phone calls, and dispatch performance data is not retained. Moreover, confirming delivery status after placing an order often involves numerous phone calls and emails, making it difficult to visualize on-site conditions like waiting times and delivery progress. Consequently, it is challenging to implement improvements aimed at reducing waiting times and optimizing vehicle utilization.
To address these issues, Hacobu is adding the "Delivery Planning Function" and "Real-time Location Sharing Function" to "MOVO Vista," which digitizes the ordering and management of dispatch operations. This will enable end-to-end execution of tasks from creating delivery plans to confirming delivery status after ordering within MOVO Vista, allowing data such as loading efficiency, delivery status, and waiting times to be naturally accumulated during daily operations and utilized for improvements.
Details of the Functional Update
1 Delivery Planning Function: Maximize transportation efficiency by visualizing loading capacity.
*Screens are for illustrative purposes. Some features are under development.
This function allows for the creation of delivery plans based on shipment instruction data. It automatically calculates the loading capacity by considering the weight and floor space occupied by the cargo in the shipment instruction data and the size of the vehicle to be used, enabling the creation of delivery plans while checking this loading capacity.
A function that automatically creates plan proposals by AI, taking into account loading capacity, delivery times, and on-site conditions, is scheduled to be released in late July.
Traditionally, dispatch operations involved担当者 (personnel) mentally determining the most efficient way to load cargo onto which vehicle by considering the cargo volume, delivery destinations, and delivery times. However, it is difficult to compare all combinations solely based on human judgment, and in some cases, vehicles have been operated with empty space remaining on the cargo bed.
This function will enable even less experienced personnel to create delivery plans in a short time by checking indicators such as loading capacity. By planning deliveries while considering loading capacity, it is possible to approach full loads as much as possible, reducing the number of trips required for the same transport volume, which leads to lower transportation costs.
This will lead to improved revenue for transport operators and stable transport capacity for shippers. Furthermore, since the plan details are recorded, it becomes easier to hand over operations when personnel change.
2 Real-time Location Sharing Function: Visualize the delivery site for data-driven improvements.
*Screens are for illustrative purposes. Some features are under development.
This function allows real-time confirmation of the driver's current location and delivery status on the MOVO Vista delivery order screen (scheduled for release from the end of August 2026). It also supports recording of waiting times, arrival/departure times, and uploading of on-site photos.
Currently, there are many cases where commissioned transport operators re-contract with other transport operators. To confirm the delivery status, it was necessary to go through multiple layers of communication: "Shipper Company → Prime Contractor → Actual Transport Operator → Driver," which could take time to ascertain the situation. Consequently, the communication for confirmation also became a burden for on-site personnel.
This function will enable real-time confirmation of the driver's current location and delivery status on MOVO Vista. Not only will it reduce the need for confirmation calls, but the waiting times and arrival/departure times entered by the driver will also be accumulated as data. This makes it possible to grasp the reality of where waiting occurs and at which delivery destinations waiting times are long, and to implement improvements.
Furthermore, by enabling shippers and prime contractors to grasp the real-time location of drivers, they can issue prompt detour instructions and conduct safety checks in emergencies such as disasters.
This function will be provided in conjunction with the driver smartphone app "MOVO Driver." When a driver selects location sharing upon starting operations in the app, the location information obtained by the smartphone's GPS will be automatically shared with MOVO Vista. No dedicated GPS terminal is required; location sharing is completed with just the driver's smartphone.
*Some functions will be offered as options. Please contact us for details.
Advanced Adoption Case Study
In conjunction with this functional update, we will also release case studies of advanced companies utilizing MOVO Vista.

Future Outlook
Hacobu will continue to evolve MOVO Vista as a platform that simultaneously supports operational reforms for on-site workers and data utilization for management by further integrating logistics operations and deepening information sharing. We will create an environment where data is naturally accumulated through operations, contributing to on-site improvements and enhanced accuracy in management decisions.
About the Dispatch Order and Management Service "MOVO Vista"
MOVO Vista is a logistics DX tool that connects shippers, prime contractors, and transport operators, supporting the management of delivery orders. By conducting all communication online, it enables the formalization and digitalization of contracts. This eliminates the need for ad-hoc phone, FAX, and email exchanges, not only improving operational efficiency but also making order status visible to everyone, thereby resolving issues of reliance on specific individuals. Furthermore, by accumulating and visualizing transportation data from each base, it supports transportation optimization, including dispatch optimization across multiple bases. https://hacobu.jp/movo-vista/
