30th Anniversary Exhibition of Gunze Museum 'Tsudoigura': Showcase of Masterpieces by Living National Treasures in Ayabe, Kyoto

The Gunze Museum of History's multipurpose hall 'Tsudoigura,' located in Ayabe City, Kyoto—the birthplace of Gunze Limited—is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, a special exhibition of ceramic masterpieces will be held from May 2nd (Sat) to May 6th (Wed/Holiday).

The exhibition will showcase approximately 65 works by distinguished artists, including Living National Treasure Iwao Shinnou (from Ayabe), Living National Treasure Akihiro Maeda (from Tottori), Metropolitan Museum of Art collected artist Hiro Anjiki, and Masahiro Maeda (from Kumihama), who received the Japan Art Crafts Association President's Award.
