What is "CSP (Creator Support Program)"?

CSP (Creator Support Program)

"CSP" is a service that utilizes YouTube's MCN (*1) functionality and KADOKAWA's proprietary system for managing secondary use and distributing revenue, enabling creators and rights holders to gain new revenue and PR opportunities (launched March 2022).

Under its corporate mission, "To be a creative platformer that connects the world's talent with inspiration," the KADOKAWA Group aims to foster a "chain of creation" worldwide by licensing the secondary use of its intellectual property, including some of its anime and creator content, through the deployment of CSP.

Currently, a wide range of YouTube channels, including domestic and international creators such as VTubers and streamers, as well as official anime channels and clip channels, are using CSP. The number of participating channels exceeds 780, with a cumulative subscriber count of over 68 million (*2).

Creators and rights holders interested in CSP are welcome to contact us.

(*1) MCN refers to a third-party service provider that partners with multiple YouTube channels and provides services including audience development, content programming, creator collaboration, digital rights management, monetization, and sales.
