KADOKAWA Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Takeshi Natsuno) announced that, in collaboration with TV Tokyo Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hiroshi Yoshitsugu), it will release the word-selection picture book 'Synapusyu de Oboeru Fuwafuwa Kotoba' (production cooperation: TV Tokyo / supervision: Takashi Saito) on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. This picture book is based on the popular TV program "Synapusyu" for infants, produced by TV Tokyo (broadcast every Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM on TV Tokyo's six-station network).
Children can learn the difference in feelings words convey, together with "Pusyupusyu," by choosing between "fluffy words" that make people happy, such as "Thank you" and "I love you," and "prickly words" that make others uncomfortable, such as "I don't need it" and "I hate it."
It nurtures the ability to choose "fluffy words" to get along well with friends.
This book gently conveys how a single word can change feelings.
What is "Synapusyu"? Japan's first commercial TV program for infants. "It's a program that makes a baby's world 'pushu' expand, and 'pushu~' releases the tension from everyone raising a baby." (From the official website)
