Extreme and dark. Devilishly entertaining. Recommended by Kotaro Yoshida! The original revenge tragedy 'Titus Andronicus,' which was the inspiration for Game of Thrones. And 'Arden of Faversham,' untranslated in any domestic complete works and now in paperback for the first time, a unique work that makes you exclaim, "This is Shakespeare!?" The valiant general Titus returns triumphantly to his homeland Rome, bringing with him the beautiful Gothic queen Tamora and her princes as captives. Ignoring the queen's pleas, he brutally murders her son. However, the new emperor marries the queen, and their positions are reversed. The queen's revenge begins. --'Titus Andronicus,' an extreme, dark, blood-for-blood revenge tragedy. In addition, the elusive 'Arden of Faversham,' which sparked debate as to whether "this is also Shakespeare?" and was untranslated in domestic complete works but was officially canonized in 2016, is also included for the first time.
