First in the industry for school management systems: 'Coeteco Manager by GMO' releases public API capable of AI integration [GMO Media]

GMO Media, Inc. (President: Teruyuki Mori, hereinafter "GMO Media") of the GMO Internet Group has started providing a public API (*1) for the school management system "Coeteco Manager by GMO" from Thursday, April 23, 2026.

With this API, operational data such as school reservations, students, and sales can be directly acquired and manipulated from external systems and AI tools. This enables data analysis by AI, such as predicting signs of withdrawal, and automation of tasks like accounting, supporting the operational efficiency of schools.

Furthermore, releasing a public API for a school management system is the first initiative of its kind in the industry (*2).

[Background] In recent years, with the rapid evolution of AI agents, the usage format of software is facing a major turning point. The transition is progressing from the conventional format where "humans operate screens" to one where "AI accesses data through APIs to execute tasks."
