Groovement's latest survey reveals a significant shift in the freelance consulting market. Motivation for independence is now polarized between starting personal businesses (32%) and improving work-life balance (25%). Notably, full-time engagement (100% utilization) has reached a record high of 25%. While 58% reported an annual income increase of over 3 million yen, market rates are becoming bifurcated. Digital transformation is also evident, with 97% of consultants utilizing generative AI in their daily operations to enhance efficiency and output quality.
