Popular LA Donut Shop "Randy's Donuts" Grand Opens its 6th Store in Japan, a Takeout Specialty Shop in Atre Meguro on May 28, 2026

Grit International Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tsuyoshi Haga; hereinafter referred to as Grit International) will grand open "Randy's Donuts Meguro Atre Store," the sixth domestic location of the highly popular Los Angeles-based donut shop "Randy's Donuts," inside the "Atre Meguro 1" shopping center directly connected to JR Meguro Station on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

"Randy's Donuts" is a wildly popular donut shop founded in Los Angeles in 1952. In particular, the giant donut-shaped sign, approximately 10 meters (32 feet) in diameter, towering over the roof of the first US store has long been a symbol of the city. It has appeared in popular movies and music videos, and is widely known as a landmark of Los Angeles.

The first domestic store, "Randy's Donuts Shibuya Daikanyama Store," which grand opened in May of last year, features a giant donut-shaped sign approximately 4 meters in diameter in front of the store—a symbol of "Randy's Donuts." Inside, a large showcase measuring approximately 3 meters high by 2.7 meters wide displays up to 1,000 handmade donuts in over 40 diverse designs daily, attracting significant attention.

Additionally, the company has been actively expanding its store network to serve more customers, opening its first takeout-only store, "Randy's Donuts Shinjuku Eato Lumine Store," in September of last year, followed by "Randy's Donuts Tokyo Gift Palette Store" in December, "Randy's Donuts Yurakucho Marui Store" this March, and "Randy's Donuts Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Store" in April.

The sixth domestic location, "Randy's Donuts Meguro Atre Store," is a takeout-only store located on the first floor of "Atre Meguro 1," directly connected to Meguro Station on the JR Yamanote Line and Tokyu Meguro Line (direct to the Toei Mita Line and Tokyo Metro Namboku Line), a spot familiar to local residents and office workers.

To commemorate the grand opening, the store will release exclusive donuts, the "Almond Pistachio Coconut Raised" and the "Chocolate Texas Orange Green Sprinkles," as well as limited-edition merchandise, the "Takeout Bag Khaki (S)." Furthermore, for three days only from the opening until Saturday, May 30, an opening campaign will be held where the first 100 customers each day will receive one free "Glazed Raised," the store's most popular donut.

"Randy's Donuts" aims to become a sweet brand beloved by Japanese customers as well.
