In an era where AI is said to be capable of handling output, what can only humans do? Goodpatch's definition of design goes beyond merely tidying up appearances; it encompasses the entire process of questioning, identifying, and maximizing "what constitutes essential value."
Precisely because of this era, we want many students to discover the excitement of design.
With this in mind, we have decided to hold our summer internship again this year.
On the day, Goodpatch's active UI/UX designers and service designers (UX designers) will serve as mentors. There will also be opportunities for communication with management, including presentations and social gatherings.
Furthermore, by participating in this internship, you can advance to the main selection process for 2028 graduates earlier (※).
We welcome applications from those who wish to acquire practical skills in UI/UX design and service design (UX design) alongside fellow job seekers, and those who want to interact with leading designers and design company executives through learning.
※Entry to the main selection process is optional.
Guidance for the Summer Internship
Conceive concepts that balance solving corporate management challenges with user problems, and experience the design process on-site at user touchpoints.
In this summer internship, multiple designers will form teams and work on the same tasks in a format similar to actual work.
You will gain extensive experience, from process design based on a service design approach, research, idea generation, experience design, and business model construction, to UI/UX design for digital products.
While mastering the latest AI tools, we will refine concept-making that balances "solving client management challenges" and "users' essential needs" into concrete output.

- It was clear that everyone was serious about "creating good things" and that there was an atmosphere where that was valued. It also conveyed that everyone was continuously honing their specialized knowledge and working by leveraging it, which was very powerful and attractive.
- This was the internship where I felt I grew the most. I felt like I really accomplished a lot in a short, intensive period, so I want to continue growing at the same pace.
- The external changes in myself might not be significant, but I gained so many insights and became aware of so many things I want to do from now on. Also, the mentor's knowledge was so immense that it really motivated me to work harder. And after listening to the UI lecture, my desire to create attractive UIs grew stronger.

At university, I couldn't clearly learn the flow between connecting UI and UX, or how densely experience design should be done in UX, so the opportunity to receive detailed feedback from mentors who are active UI/UX designers in practice is rare. The learning gained from the internship didn't end there; I gained a lot of knowledge that I can connect to my future creative activities and career.
